Group Fitness

shutterstock_125780336CoreFit’s Group Fitness programme has been Whangarei’s leading boutique group fitness program since 2009.  It is not a bootcamp, nor a short stopover for fast results.  Group Fitness is about committing to regular workouts and remaining consistant and diciplined with both your trainings and your nutrition.  The three different Group Fitness workouts – CoreSCULPT (strength/cardio), CoreBOX (boxing/cardio) and CorePUMP (strength/resistance/barbell) are designed to motivate and inspire member’s to reach their full fitness potential with our highly qualified and experienced trainers in a fun and safe environment.

Our classes are predominantly strength based and resistance focussed, with an emphasis on functional movements.  Each class finishes with a 10-minute core exercise routine and full body stretches.  

Our Group Fitness classes are carefully choreographed and designed to meet all fitness levels.  Women who are pregnant, or have a new baby or are suffering with any injuries can be rest assured that they are in capable hands as workouts can be designed to meet everyone’s needs.

Gear to bring

Please bring your own good, supportive sports shoes, a full water bottle, large towel and yoga mat (for ground work), and comfortable exercise clothes.

 

Please note:

Participants will never be asked to perform more than they are capable of doing, but are pushed to give one hundred percent effort at all times. Sessions are not designed for members to compete against one another; they simply provide incentive and encouragement for each woman to compete to her personal best. In every group there will inevitably be a range of fitness levels and exercise abilities so our qualified trainer will adapt the exercise accordingly to allow each member to maximize their own personal effort no matter how fit they are.
